What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes.

Describe your DJ style:

Professional, Energetic and Fun.

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?

Depends on the length of the event. Also, I do not play explicit music.

What is your usual attire?

Either a Tux, Black Suit or a Black Vest, Tie, Slacks and a White Dress Shirt–whichever the client prefers.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

No. I will locate and purchase it, if it is available online from a trusted source (i.e. iTunes or Amazon.com). I will then add it to my Music Library. If I am unable to locate a particular song, I will let the client know.

How many other DJs do you work with?

I only work with DJ’s that are current members in good standing with the American Disc Jockey Association.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

3 Hours for a Party. 4 hours for a Wedding Reception.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

Yes, and I actually prefer that all clients meet with me first.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

No.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?

Yes. This can be submitted through our online Music Request List, or emailed directly to me.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes. I bring the highest quality sound equipment to all events.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

I offer Dance Lights, Disco Ball and Up Lighting for an additional fee.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

I require 1 to 2 hours, depending on what services are needed. I provide my own table(s), which are covered with a black linen table skirt.

Do you have any extra space requirements?

I require an 8 foot by 8 foot work area.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

No, I feel it looks unprofessional at weddings.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

When appropriate and required.

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

Play a song that requires group participation.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I do not take breaks. A meal is not required, but it is greatly appreciated.

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?

Not necessary.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I have an assistant DJ who would fill in for me, if I were unable to DJ an event; however, I have never missed an event that I have booked.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?

No.

What is your overtime rate?

$75 per half hour.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

Any cost incurred to travel beyond a 50 mile radius of the DFW Metroplex is charged at a rate of $0.55 per mile. If I have to stay overnight due to travel beyond 100 miles, my hotel accommodations will be paid for by the client.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

$200 non-refundable deposit, along with a signed contract.
